I wanted to like this one, but unfortunately, I think this one is going into the DNF pile.
I'm about a third of the way through, and the book is putting me to sleep. The plot feels somewhat disjointed at times, and doesn't flow from chapter to chapter. Doesn't help that

This was actually my spooky month read, but I just took a bit before talking about it.
It's very up my alley in terms of cozy (modern) fantasy and found family tropes. Caveat that it probably isn't as cozy as some people would like.

Seeing people complain about the lack of main CP on a dm book cover makes me laugh, because these are the first volumes of what I have on my shelf atm (I'm aware 一律 is backwards, but not like the front is much better)

Was hoping to finish up the face today, but ended up going a lot slower because of multiple colour changes (there are 10 colours in that face portion atm), and stitching very light shades on white aida was making me go cross-eyed.
At least he's somewhat recognisable atm, I think 🤔

Holding the hoop proved to be too much for my elbow still, so I got a little desk clamp thingy instead. Quite like it so far.
