3 was the Green Umbrella. Every piece was amazing, but the cello “etude” by Dylan Mattingly was my favorite. Many of the audience lost their homes, including the woman next to me and several sitting nearby. A somber evening made better with music and community.

3 concerts this weekend. Number 1 was Los Lobos. I was definitely on the young side of the audience which was a pleasure. The music was beautiful and nostalgia-inducing. Number 2 next…
