This is a good lesson for Australia. If you can't do anything in a 3 year term, you can't do it in 4, or apparently 5. The problem is not the term length, the problem is the culture and incompetence of the politics of the people who rise to the top in our parties.

Looks like it…but I’d love to know what the hard right’s theory of getting back into government is. They tried the “outer suburban discontent” thing last time and went spectacularly backwards.

They might be of some minor relevance to housing shortages in regional areas where land isn’t constrained, but for the cities where most of us live, WTF would you put a tiny house?
