Agreed - at least it makes it clear it is not "all in their heads". It should put that hypothesis to bed and stop the UK government trying to get these very ill people "back to work"

2- One of the few data sources right now is Google symptom searches. Here's the raw data for the US. I had noticed that these were increasing in many states as I was updating my website last evening.

I was an undergrad in student politics at this time. We mustn’t forget the backdrop to all of this was the Vietnam war - Whitlam govt withdraw Australia as soon as they he was elected in 1972
