Free = peak parking (which is 8 an hour not 6 btw). You can still have parking for trades and employees for less. There is traffic all year around. Doesn’t matter. The city council and votes of Aspen are rather thick. It took 35 minutes from the aabc to town this am.

It is driving the cost of services up however. Try getting a plumber to come by for less than 200 an hour?

It also drives up the cost of businesses that come from DV. Also, the busses operate at a diminished rate in the offseason so people have to drive. But parking is capped at 4 hours max at Downtown spots.
