I personally found it refreshing to just get the news, a few witty takes, & then back to the people I actually like reading on this site. There’s really only so many original takes & I don’t miss being saturated w/ 500 iterations of the same thing.

#Academic wheel of privilege is a good resource to reflect on. One thing I think that isn't covered in the career segment is 'access to internal power/information'. This isn't always correlated with career stage or other factors, but can have a disproportionate impact on people's success #academia

This week in academia has been extremely busy yet enjoyable! I participated in a panel discussion, and today I had the privilege of attending a thesis defense as a member of the assessment committee.

Now, it's time to regain focus and get some actual work done.
