Yes I am aware that the original idiom was meant to mean “something that is easy” but there has been a connotation of sneakiness, greediness or underhandedness to the idiom for decades and yall know it.

The comic was created by Matt Furie, who was absolutely horrified to find out how the alt right was utilizing his character and attempted to stop the behavior, but this is the internet, so that just sort of made it worse.

So the other day, I was watching this documentary. It’s called “Feels Good Man” and it’s basically the story of how Pepe the frog went from a fun, innocent comic book character, to a hate symbol.

Now I have a little cat named Noodles. Noodles is a young cat, and very playful, and Noodles LOVES to hunt. Now, generally she tends to hunt socks and the occasional stink bug, but alas, tonight she found different prey.

It’s called the mourning gecko and it looks like this. They do not need a mate to reproduce and they can survive a hurricane, which is how they ended up on remote islands. The wind just picks them up and flings them across the ocean, and then they populate the whole island on their own.
