Being an idiot here, but maybe they mean that the cut of the episode that premieres isn't necessarily the one released ondemand.
They'll probably cut out the bumpers and ads and stuff on the episode uploaded on youtube.

The only thing I'm hesitant about is the chip. If this does have more logic elements than the MISTer, this would be INSANE for retro computing with FPGA. 486 emulation is decent on the MISTer, but if it can get clocked higher here, that would be insane.
