Tree lights went up yesterday.

I just did the annual Moving of the Snowblower from my neighbor’s garage to mine. Just raked my leaves for the first time yesterday.

Yeah, I call a patch of Crescent “the beach of the blood-red sand.” Got one of those big disk magnets and screwed it to the end of an old broomstick to capture a bunch. (Kids love little clear boxes of magnetic iron.)

I’m rather lackadaisical about it, but hey, it’s a start. Check a cigar shop for empty boxes and tubes. Crescent in Maine is full of garnet and iron - the black tube to its left is iron I separated out with a magnet.

I’ve got Marina, Monastery, and Asilomar.

Where in Monterey? Monastery Beach’s sand is a planet away from Del Monte Beach’s sand.
