People spend a lot of time wondering why the left is worse at using independent media to control the national narrative.

A useful exercise is to ask why the left is also worse at selling snake oil and pyramid schemes, because I think the reasons are basically exactly the same.

Then thing is, as citizens we should be able to just live our lives. It's our job to vote, but it's the jobs of the people we vote into power to act on our behalf.

It's THEIR JOB.
How about this as a rule - you can dunk on dem messaging if you're, personally, doing something

I see a lack of a real fight from many dem leaders in response to the new admin, its alliance with big tech, its attacks on our migrant and trans communities, its attempts to end birth right citizenship are existential and unacceptable. We have to do more to fight back. Our words matter now too.

I'm really needing to see Democrats doing something other than pointing at the other side tearing the country apart.

Dems seem to not be doing anything except expressing outrage or dismay. What are you DOING TO STOP THEM, Congress?

Since intelligence is not directly observable, it has often been deduced from observable behaviors that are taken to be signs of intelligence, like language use. But this may actually be empirically incorrect insofar as true intelligence is knowing when to keep your mouth shut.
