After a long hike, and lots of running, I still made it before sunrise! The only soul, I was treated to a breathtaking view of South Africa's Blyde River canyon, the calls of baboons echoing in the the distance, and birds circling below.

'The Quiet Cottage'

Here's the closest thing we saw to a turkey in Borneo. It's my best view of the Great Argus to date. I've yet to see a display, but that tail is impressive nonetheless!

Back to Borneo: The Gonmatong Cave visit was one of the main highlights for me on this trip. It was my first time there (closed during my last visit), and the amount of cool stuff inside was just wild.

Here we have: long-legged centipede, a baby bat fallen from the ceiling, and oodles of roaches.
