California – this Election Day, vote yes on Prop 50.

California’s Prop 50 says that if Republicans are going to abuse the system to try and hang onto power, we’re going to counteract that abuse and create a level playing field in the midterm elections.

Make a plan to vote yes on Prop 50.

Billionaires are hoarding power and money.

To vote for this bill is to vote to starve and kill Americans, and to saddle those who survive with a mountain of debt and a hotter globe. That is a policy choice. And everyone who votes yes owns that choice.

Excluding people from benefits is popular because we like punishing people even when the cost of punishing is much higher than just giving everyone the benefit
One accurate way of thinking about the Trump bill is that is is a massive wealth transfer from the poorest to the richest.

That wealth transfer is built on administrative burdens: the savings depend on making it harder for eligible claimants to receive benefits.

What violence, Senator? LADP officers shooting reporters with rubber bullets? Sheriff’s deputies indiscriminately tossing flashbacks over fences into people’s yards?

You want an end to the violence? So do I. Once ICE stops indiscriminately kidnapping people, everyone will go home.
Violence must stop, and we need to keep the focus on protecting fundamental rights.

There is nothing President Trump would like more than a violent confrontation with protestors to justify the unjustifiable — invocation of the Insurrection Act or some form of martial law.

I'm just having a really negative reaction to people's reactions to Musk's claim that Trump is in the Epstein files.

My reaction is: In 2016, one of his victims openly sued Trump and Epstein jointly claiming she was raped at the age of 13.

This statement from Jonathan Joss's husband is heart breaking.

No, headline writers, he wasn't "killed in an argument with a neighbor." He was *deliberately murdered* for being gay right after his dog was decapitated.

Bet the murderer calls himself a "Christian."

THIS is why Pride is important.

Unironically they should buy up the domains for about 60 defunct local newspapers in swing states. Hire two reporters to write almost exclusively about highschool sports and new restaurants opening with every 10th article about how the local GOP is screwing over people.
