My new fave sweater has been this “porch goose social club” one. The only problem? When people ask if I have a porch goose I’ve had to say “no but I’m aspiring to.” Thanks to my husband and son for gifting me the most perfect Mother’s Day porch goose. I’m in the club now!

I’m bad at making friends with my neighbors b/c I’m a lil goblin that stays inside most of the time, but my dog broke into the neighbor’s yard & she brought him back. So I made her a thank you sourdough & now we’ve been texting each other… I feel like I’m in a friendship rom com & my dog set me up…

Our HVAC unit bit the dust two weeks ago and they’re finally replacing it today and I have never felt more gratitude and appreciation for the modern convenience of air conditioning (but damn is it expensive).

Two weeks ago we got invited to a wedding happening this weekend and today I was asked to officiate that wedding. Wild ride of an escalation of events out here as an ordained minister.
I’ve been crocheting this Twin Peaks blanket in secret for MONTHS (which is a feat considering it means wrestling a schedule with a 7 m.o.) but all worth it for @princentvice.bsky.social’s joy. A little labor of love for my love. Happy birthday darling ❤️❤️❤️ #crochet🧶

My nephew learned in school about a googol being a large number. So he started telling everyone “I love you a googol” and my sister was so hilariously confused about the search engine and now everyone else in my family has started to say “I love you a Google” and it brings me so much joy

They just raised my student loan payment by over 500 dollars and didn’t fucking tell me!!! Just took it out of my account as a fun little surprise. I guess “fuck all of us on a repayment plan to pay for an overpriced education in a predatory system” is the new American dream.

I spent over 37 hours crocheting this star suit, shorts, and fishnets only for my son to spend 5 mins in it and be Very Displeased. We will try again someday, but I’m so happy with how this turned out #crochet 🧶

I cannot even begin to describe the rage and anxiety I feel at the fact that I’m terrified of my 5 month old getting measles, a preventable disease. But thanks to idiocracy, fear mongering, and misinformation, herd immunization will no longer protect our most vulnerable.

Second and third sourdough loaves!!! They rose more than I thought they would and got some weird side creases thanks to the size of my Dutch oven/the parchment paper but they tasted amazing! 🥖
