A pastor's job is not to know where everything is. It is simply to know who to text when you go to put away stray Christmas Eve candles and find that all of the worship supplies have been replaced with more practical things like plumbing supplies.

I got laid off today, with the rest of 18F.
18F was an elite federal software shop. We made gov't websites work better, more efficiently for the American people. We saved taxpayers from getting screwed over by contractors. And were fired for it.

I am deeply offended by the impulse to withhold public funds from the public good. Period. Overlaying this narrative with efforts to spend the same taxpayer funds on private schools is obscene and also contrary to every moral code.
