I don't think money, lockpicks, arrows, or other clutter having weight in an RPG is a bad thing
It's really weird to assume one would be normally carrying hundreds or even thousands of something at one time and not expect it to be a hassle.

The Hick family lives out of a gated trailer home, and it looked hideous so I've been trying (keyword on trying) to make it look more respectable
And because it's a mother and son household I made explicitly sure to put them in separate rooms
The Hick family now comes with 100% less animal cruelty

I've been on a Sims 1 kick with its re-release on Steam, and having the Newbie household as my starter has been a blast.
Wanted to retain the original footprint for the house despite it being quite small, though I had to knock down a few walls so I could make the living and dining room contiguous.
