I have heard that the columns looked beige on video and had to be yellowed in grading. This lead to the refit of the lights for S12, which is why the column gain extra joints.

Bond meets Blofeld for the first time ever in the movie immediately following the one where he meets him. The whole twist at the half way point is Bond and Blofeld discovering who the other is.

Seems a bit late to get to the 26th Bond film and suddenly go “we really need to think about continuity

I will laugh so hard if it’s Liam Hemsworth.

I still think Aaron Taylor-Johnson would be a very good choice.

It’s also perfectly fine to get an actor who doesn’t also do the stunts. You might make more films if you’re not breaking your leading man’s bones 2-3 times a film.

Oh yes! Not quite a Doctor Who level mess, but a mess nonetheless!

My dear friend Richard suggested that in an ideal world, disgraced agent Silver in Skyfall would have been played by Pierce Brosnan.

(Though presumably Brosnan’s treatment by Barbara and Michael after DAD would have prevented this)

Also worth noting that the book canon(s) and film canon(s) are mutually exclusive- the order of stories differ and thus arcs that happen in the books (such as Bond’s son) do not happen in the films.

That’s one theory (might have originated in the post Fleming books). My view is there are three film continuities- Connery/Lazenby/ Moore; Dalton/Brosnan; Craig.

Worth mentioning that the events of OHMSS might have happened in the Dalton/Brosnan canon.

There’s even a pretty good-looking game out next year that features a mid 20s, in training Bond.

The Poirot and Marple Collections are good if you like murder mysteries. For SF/Fantasy there’s Lord of the Rings, Terry Pratchett, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. For Comedy, I love Bleak Expectations. Otherwise, searching for ‘BBC Radio’ should bring up mostly full cast stuff.
Bleak Expectations
Check out this great listen on Audible.com.au. The complete collected series 1-5 of the gloriously daft Victorian romp Bleak Expectations. Gasp at the evil Mr Gently Benevolent, played by Mr Anthony ...

Check out some BBC Radio Drama/Comedy collections. Full cast, and usually 30-60 min eps. Collections usually have 5-10 hours with off material.

Paprika.

Paprika goes with everything.

It adds colour AND flavour.

Everyone should have a large jar of paprika.
