This is odd, it looks like the DOJ skipped suing Texas entirely. The Justice Department is now suing California over the new congressional district boundaries that voters approved just last week, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday in a post on X. Who are they going to sue, the voters?

ICE says video from inside the facility "between October 19, 2025, and October 31, 2025, has been irretrievably destroyed" and can't be produced in discovery.

What ever happened to waiting until Thanksgiving (which is two weeks away) is over before putting up Christmas decorations? There's at least one house near me that's had lights and numerous lawn decorations up for a week. I'm having a hard time understanding the motivation behind this. Help!

I made this wallet around 1970. I was waiting for a march to begin that was organized by the VVAW, for which I was a principal organizer. If memory serves, it was in Nixon's hometown of Whittier and the featured speaker was Ron Kovic, who was a friend. I believe someone slashed his tires that day.

While I'm deeply disappointed in the Senate Dems who "caved" and voted to end the shutdown, I'm also a big believer in turning negatives into positives or, at least, recognizing silver linings, no matter how thin. Let's not dwell on the negatives of the vote and celebrate the swearing in of Adelita.
