This is bolstered by another study, published in the June Journal of the National Cancer Institute, that found zero cervical cancer cases in a group of women who received the HPV vaccine when they were age 12 or 13.

The ‘Mississippi Appendectomy’ was the medical practice that provided involuntary sterilization to poor, black, women who were deemed unfit to reproduce. These practices were not limited to Mississippi. An estimated 100,000 to 150,000 poor people were sterilized annually
