My whanau went on the Winter Solstice light night bike ride tonight in Hagley Park - SO glad we made the effort.
The model yacht club were sailing their beautiful lit up yachts too, such a good start to our Matariki season ✨

Ōtautahi has a brilliant Council run bike safety programme. They take year 6 students through 3 sessions to learn to bike safely on the road.
I've been teaching my children, but lots of whanau can't for whatever reason - mine didn't teach me.
