In NM, service is a way of life, and generations of families have worn the uniform. We are working to meet the needs of our veterans, so every veteran can thrive.
Grateful to appear before the Veterans Affairs Committee yesterday to talk about this commitment to service, right before leaving DC. 💙

Private, for-profit prisons have no place in a fair and free democracy—and especially profiting off the suffering of an inhumane and undemocratic detention system.
