If those people make the choice to terminate, they deserve safe, local abortion care.

This post is NOT attempting to stigmatize abortion care later in pregnancy, sometimes referred to as "abortion after viability."

We understand that some people who want to remain pregnant could have a pregnancy that is not able to be carried to term or will be unable to survive after birth even if it was carried to term.

By "viable" we mean capable of survival assuming a full term pregnancy. We are attempting to distinguish between a wanted healthy pregnancy and a wanted pregnancy that might be facing a termination for medical reasons.
