✨Mina’s Minute✨We have 2 days until the end of session. The House passed a bill to support defined benefits, the Conference Committee negotiated on the Fiscal Year 2026 budget, and the Governor vetoed the education bil, HB 57. We’ll meet in joint session tomorrow to override HB 57’s veto. #akleg

The Conference Committee will now negotiate on creating a balanced budget that address the remaining $250 million deficit, the PFD, BSA, and investments to crucial social services. #akleg
