Honored to support St. Stephen’s Community House and to pack food bags and boxes. With affordability still a concern for so many families, especially during the holidays, our collective work to ensure every Ohioan is fed continues. Grateful for St. Stephen’s and their compassionate service.

I was proud to honor the Mother of the Civil Rights movement, Rosa Parks, on the House floor. Twenty years ago, I led the effort for Ohio to make 12/1 Rosa Parks Day.
Tonight, I urged Congress to make it a federal holiday, carrying Rosa's legacy forward with action worthy of her courage.

Seventy years ago today, Rosa Parks’ act of courage lit a path that still guides us toward justice. As we honor her, we must act. It is time to make December 1st a federal holiday. Next year, as our nation celebrates its founding fathers, let us also honor our democracy’s mothers.

Last week, I joined Colleen Marshall on Sunday Briefing, to talk about why I voted against the Republican betrayal bill, and why Democrats are demanding action on health care now.

The affordable health care of millions of Americans is still at stake. But House Democrats will continue the fight.

Last night, after voting to release the Epstein files, I joined the survivors at a vigil to honor their experience, and stand in solidarity. They deserve justice and the American people deserve the truth.

Minority Depository Institutions (MDIs) like Adelphi Bank in Columbus, Ohio increase access to affordable financial services in underserved communities.

I was proud to recognize them today, and I'll continue to fight for MDIs on the House Financial Services Committee.

After a historic Republican delay, I am proud to celebrate Congresswoman Grijalva’s swearing-in as the newest Member of Congress and the 97th woman in the Democratic Caucus. Her passion for Arizona’s 7th District already shines—thrilled to welcome her to the House, where she belongs.

Health care is under attack, again.

This Republican bill betrays working Americans and their families.

Democrats are standing firm against it to stop the cuts, lower costs, and protect care for everyone who depends on it. I'm voting NO.
