May I please get the alt?!?

I first noticed it with Mad Men. And then Breaking Bad and The Walking dead. Nothing happened until the last two or three episodes. And now countless series are the same way. Even more so now. Nothing happens until the finale, but I’m held hostage by them so I keep tuning in hoping something happens
