"Softimage 3D" was the 3D app we used for the developing back then. Also the room is from the Otherworld school I did the modeling & the level design at that time.
I didn't dislike the graphic/resolution of PS1.

When I went to watch this at a theater, about 33 years ago, in 1990 or 1991, I was alone there. A film gave me a huge influence at making SH series. This postcard is included in the Blu-ray Japanese edition.

The mouth of Flesh Lip & Mandarin's face symbolize the mouth of Mary verbally abusing James. They were inspired by the mouth of the figure in the center painting of “Second Version of Triptych 1944” by Francis Bacon.
As a side note, in SH2R, Mandarin appears only in Otherworld.
