NEW: The bipartisan Senate Appropriations Committee has rejected Trump’s proposed $18 billion, 40% cut to the National Institutes of Health budget and endorsed a $400 million increase.

DO NOT GIVE UP! Our advocacy is working. Keep speaking up and calling your elected officials.

I’m Jewish and I lived in NYC for a decade. My wife and I left due to affordability concerns—especially around housing. I’m wishing I could move back to NYC BECAUSE of Zohran.

Gentile politicians need to stop using Jews as a cudgel against the left.
Kind of weirded out by all of these non-Jewish politicians claiming to speak on behalf of the Jews, I have to say.

Pesticide giants like Bayer have done too much damage already. If the Cancer Gag Act passes, it'll be even harder to hold them accountable. Tell Congress to oppose it: fwwat.ch/3HnElAm
An Iowa bill limiting glyphosate lawsuits failed. Now the US Supreme Court may weigh in
Bayer officials say the Supreme Court could decide if it will hear the case as early as the end of the month.

If you were too young in 2003 here is what Bush told the American people:

1) The Iraq War won’t cost a lot of money
3) We won’t need a lot of troops
4) We’ll bring peace and freedom to Iraq
5) We’ll find WMDs
6) We’ll be welcomed as liberators
7) It will be easy
8) It won’t take long

All lies.

I worked in NYC politics for a few years (including for WFP)

Cuomo - I say from first hand experience - is the worst high-profile democratic politician in the country & was even before the sexual harassment came out
had the pleasure of canvassing w/ the working families party today in nyc, whatever you do, don’t rank cuomo workingfamilies.org/candidates/

masks are variant proof
don’t rely on that vaccine you got months… or was it a year? ago?
to match a strain that evolved after it was formulated.
prevent infection, put a filter in front of your face holes.
Wearing a mask is not “living in fear”, it’s adapting to reality.

Covid changed things. It’s a multi system vascular virus that spreads through the air.

Its killed & disabled millions.

A well fitted respirator is one of the best ways to live your life while safeguarding long term health.

I've been warning orgs that work on stigmatized areas of healthcare to move their tech stack to European companies.

This is going to create an exodus of international orgs and governments moving away from American tech companies.
This is so far over the line it’s disorienting.

Getting #measles doesn’t confer benefits on the immune system — in fact, it’s just the opposite.
Even a mild case of measles destroys the memory cells that confer resistance to infections the patient has previously fought--called immune amnesia.

Yesterday, I was sitting in a work meeting and saw an email pop-up. This isn’t going where you think it is.

I open the email and it says there has been an update in my application status… for 1 of the 5 grad schools MPH programs I applied to.

I got in.
