Why has Franklin’s crusade been forgotten?

...It also does not fit into the American founding myth of being victims of British tyranny, rising up as one & defeating the tyrants. Invading the neighboring colony does not fit with that story.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service
