Even the most advanced AI tools are useless if employees don’t feel confident using them. Building trust and boosting workers’ belief in their abilities is the real key to successful adoption.

I once had a >90yo who required hospitalizations every 2-3 weeks, one needing intubation. In a hard conversation, I recommended hospice. The family tells me he had 6 wonderful weeks at home, the longest hospital-free period for nearly a year, before dying in his sleep.

For those of you who knew Victoria Brownworth on Twitter, she passed away from cancer yesterday.

She was a fearless journalist who reported on AIDS in the 80s (when Reagan was ignoring it), lifted up the LGBTQ community, & rooted out corruption.

Her wife, Maddy Gold, died of cancer in 2022.

It's clear that Trump is going to bug out on the tariffs, because he got spooked by the visual of empty store shelves in a few weeks. But the damage has been done: China now realizes they have all the leverage in the relationship because we showed our hand.
From me, on the enduring fallout:
The Permanent Tariff Damage
Trump tries to walk back his tariffs after supply chain collapse and threats of empty store shelves. But reversing course entirely may not be possible.

House Republicans just passed a sweeping anti-voting bill that historians are saying is the most anti-voting piece of legislation to come out of Congress in the nation's history.
