Ummm, this. This novel blew me away. I've always been a fan of this author, but jeez-laweez, Sleeping Giants moved me. The message was a powerful one, too.

I couldn't put it down.

Worth noting that the Trumps invited a violent criminal accused of human trafficking INTO the United States: Andrew Tate.
These lies are reprehensible. That includes what they're saying about Mr. Abrego, a man who has never even been charged with a crime and whose sole criminal arrest was for loitering outside a Home Depot seeking work; they've called him a "violent criminal" and accused him of human trafficking.
I just want to reiterate that the White House Press Secretary — predictably but notably — lied through her teeth about this when asked.

Breaking News: The IRS agreed to share information with ICE to help locate people for deportation, court records show. This is a fundamental change in the IRS, which had gained the trust of migrants and encouraged them to file their taxes.

I want you to understand this is happening in our name and we know most of these men committed no crimes. One is a professional soccer player who was tortured in Venezuela and was working through asylum in the U.S. ICE shipped him for his Real Madrid tattoo and a picture throwing rock & roll horns.
