yah theyre all massively different cultures by now. i'd feel super out of place interacting with anyone who became a furry primarily thru like tiktok or amino apps or sumn LOL

and even then, that hasn't been guaranteed lol. idk, it's interesting. personally i like that furries are not a monoculture and that it's been very interesting to see many different cultures thru the eyes of furries/anthros, esp cuz furries couldve always served as a great equalizer to do so

who have likely never even heard of or been on a site like FA before. it's kinda just inevitable, furries are super interesting to me cuz they never really had a singular monolithic piece of media or place to exist around. we pretty much only share "like talking standing animal people" and thats it-

imo, that's just how communities fracture at scale and there have been considerably more furries/anthros in the past decade or so, ostensibly an exponential growth. not only that, but it's funny cuz that hadn't even been accounting for younger furries coming from things like roblox or tiktok--
