Just finished #ClairObscur Expedition 33. What an incredible game: well written, good combat and itemization balance, beautiful art direction, stellar voice acting and some of the best animation work I’ve seen. The soundtrack is a big standout and is going to stick with me for a long time.

I haven’t been engrossed by a game like Clair Obscur for a long time. It’s so good!
It’s probably happened only thrice over the last ten years, BG3 and Witcher 3 being the other two.

I thought the Chromatic Jar was a difficult encounter. The vollyball minigame in Clair Obscur is next level. It took me almost an hour and a half to beat and I almost gave up 💀, until it finally clicked. It's unintuitive for sure.

I'm trying the Asus ZenBook S 14. I immediately installed @cachyos.org on it. The 2.8k OLED is gorgeous, the speakers are great for this form factor. The keyboard is a bit mushy but usable.
I installed @rust-lang.org and my @bevyengine.org game compiles and runs on the device. Will try gaming next!

Been having a lot of fun with this super tiny little retro handheld that I got today. It’s the TrimUI Brick.
I never did have a handheld growing up, so this vertical form factor and all these games are new to me.

Okumura in Persona 5: Royal is hard.
I mean I spent half of the day grinding Mementos to get more XP, but still. Didn’t expect to have to grind!
I’ve gotten near the end on the last attempt, but ran out the 30min timer.
I think it’s unfairly difficult given how easy the rest of the content is! 😭

Finished watching Castlevania: Nocturne S2. It was so good! The art and animation were out of this world and blew my socks off. I haven't seen character designs of this quality for a long time, and then to see them animated too: mindblowing!!

Just finished “A Closed and Common Orbit” by Becky Chambers. I liked Wayfarers #1 more due to the characters (♥️ Rosemary), but the storytelling was just as enjoyable this time around.
I didn’t realize sci-fi slice of life existed and now I’m looking for more like this! I will be reading #3-4 asap.
