Gaza’s economy has collapsed beyond recognition
Gaza’s economy, society and basic infrastructure have been almost entirely wiped out. With 90 per cent of people displaced, food systems destroyed and schools and hospitals in ruins, reconstruction is becoming harder by the day.

We're seeing some confusion about this, so let's talk about it.

Home Depot has been complicit as ICE snatches day laborers out of parking lots. At minimum Home Depot is turning a blind eye, and there have also been rumors they may be more actively complicit. Organizers including #weaintbuyingit 🧵
In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.

Donald Duck's 28-pt plan for peace in Ukraine is as silly as a 5-legged Dog.

Russia denies helping to design it.

It's all Russia's way; Ukraine not even consulted.

USA to get 50% of profits from Ukraine's reconstruction, which frozen Russian assets & EU contribution pay for.

How awful. This is outright health disinformation, lying to the American people. Not only is there massive evidence showing no link between vaccines & autism, there’s not even a plausible mechanism based on what we’ve learned about the genetics of autism, some environmental exposures in pregnancy
HEADS UP: CDC website now officially asserts that vaccines may cause autism.“Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.” Also says the “vaccines do not cause autism” header remains b/c of an agreement with Cassidy.

100's of jobs cut at CSIRO when it has never been more important for govts to invest in science & research. Why can Labor find $$ for AUKUS but not our nation’s premier science, industry & research org? The Greens implore the Albanese government to commit funding & prevent cuts.

This is obscene.

The challenges facing the nation means we should be scaling up CSIRO, not cutting it to shreds.

While we are sending billions to the US for nuclear shipyards, our science and industrial base at home is falling apart for lack of funds and direction.
