I see what you’re saying, but TX, my homestate, had been attempting gerrymandering out Black representation since the 70s and started seeing success in the 00s. It isnt a both sides portrait if one side started 50 years earlier and represents most examples of it actually happening

Increasing surplus alone has never lead to price decreases, yet it's a nice sell to municipalities dependent on property taxes. Builders don't build so much that prices go down. The goal is to maximize profit, not minimize it.

Or even muddy enforcement by forcing SCOTUS to join unrelated cases and issue contradictory and vague rulings. The only, small, tiny silver lining lies in those of us that live on the west coast and northeast.

So if (when) states like Texas end birthright citizenship (or just citizenship of classes they deem unworthy, US born and other), and the 9th district calls it unconstitutional - the status remains in TX but not anywhere in the 9th.

Averaging isn’t a good weather vane in half the states - on the west and east coasts the variation can be hundreds of thousands for the same home depending on the county.
