So sad to hear about Robin Smith today. He was a real hero to me growing up as an avid cricket follower in Hampshire. Going through the seemingly eternal doldrums of 90s English cricket, he stood out as something special. So sorry for his family and many friends. RIP, Judge.

Never known a profession to get as thoroughly crapped-upon as teaching. Underfunded, under-resourced, underappreciated, no power to push back against entitled parents while having to deal with their 'challenging' kids. Teachers have my utmost respect. Thank you.

Found 'The Storyteller' on Prime and my youngest boy is entranced. Nothing being made today comes close: John Hurt, Jim Henson, Anthony Minghella. Incredible quality just for kids (and their parents).

Picked up a lovely OG Powerage recently thinking I could move on my repress. Now discovered they have different track lists and both Cold Hearted Man and Rock n Roll Damnation are awesome, so they're both staying. Thinning the collection ain't working. #vinylcommunity
