I actually thought of Satebo when I saw him first, and I even drew this shortly after:

This popped into my head earlier so I had to act on it

i'm calling BS. you can see 16 bars right here in the current 120 star WR video played on original hardware. i'm pretty sure this is the original Japanese release as well so I doubt it's some sort of revisional difference
