My experiment for a rainy Saturday… Pull the solar panels from some garden lights, wire them in series and use it as a CV source on the modular synths. It’s like a theremin but controlled by light. #synthsky #modularsynth #solarpanel

I don’t know if you have these items but they will be helpful.
De-soldering braid, flux paste in a syringe (use very sparingly), flux remover & thin needle nose pliers. I would also practice de-soldering on some junk electronics. Anything that has a circuit board that you can pull apart will do.

Playing around with a Sequential Circuits Pro One. It has cool little sequencer built into it which only records pitch not rhythm. Adding the Yamaha DX7 run through a digital delay for a doubling effect. #80s #80smusic #BronskiBeat #smaltownboy #synthsky #vintagesynth #sequentialcircuits #yamahadx7

Just finished setting up a Raspberry Pi zero W to work as Commodore 1541 drive emulator so I can store & load sounds/sequences in my Emu SP12! #commodore1541 #emusp12 #vintagedrummachine #synthsky #raspberrypi #emusystems It’s also just as slow as the 1541 ever was. 🐌

Ok just finishing up day two SCE’s power shut off in my area so the studio is still shut down. So here’s a piece of equipment that doesn’t need power to work… my 1976 Rogers drum kit in Metallic Gold. (I know, it looks orange)
