It seems the league is going towards athletic strong duel.monsters in midfield winning second balls and individual battles. I like PSGs midfield profile but not sure it would cope with 38 premier games a season where it is mostly becoming a physical battle and quick transitions

Be interesting to see what he plays when Salah in afcon. If he just swaps in frimpong then I see this as a massively missed opportunity to set us up to get the best out of wirtz, eki, Isaak. I want a pragmatic coach

Go 442 with wirtz free behind Eliteke and Isaak. Grav, solz, Curtis with stability in midfield so we are harder to play against and have our full backs flying up the wings to add some width.

Players have to earn the right to play. Love Salah but based on performance he should be benched next game.

Reckon the delay makes it more likely from a squad building perspective. His price will be £20m ISH in Jan for an England international with reportedly great leadership that can play 5 positions. Worse case he is an endo/gomez replacement best he is a consistent starter

I think he has desired a move for he last couple of years for regular footy. Not actively pushed but open to it. Can't see Milan offering what we would want especially for an injury prone player. But suspect he is on high wages for the number of games he plays.

I think palace want Guehi for the second leg so they qualify. I'm doubtful about Isaak, even if we had an outline deal done I reckon the prices they are being quoted for the likes of Larson means they will surely expect more for Isaak and I'm not sure we'd pay it.

Just feel he was outrage farming to generate clicks & views. I'm old enough to remember Heysel and nothing in the song relates to it. Clearly reference to crying is due to losing Chiesa. He doesn't help Liverpool fans as one of the tropes against us is always the victim and he has added fuel to that

When we were facing the aerial bombardment against Newcastle I thought he would have been an option then with his height and strength. Would have put him on Burns. When he brought Endo on that suggests he isn't ready.....

I'd like to see a stat that shows Aerial duel win that falls to your own player/attempt on goal. How many of those lead to the ball out of play or to an opposing player?

Agreed, though I would like a destroyer or a more athletic upgrade on Endo to help close the game out when it becomes stretched and we are more at risk of such transitions.
