Real name Bruce Crawford, from Nottingham.
Synths, Eurorack, music, United.
Owned an A-3440 in the 80’s.
The novel of 2001: A Space Odyssey changed me profoundly. I read it at 16 having never seen the film. My review for English is the only teachers comment I can remember: “You obviously enjoyed this book very much. I think you’ll find the ending of the film even more confusing but do see it. 10/10” 😂

Preston’s bit too far for me, but the word always makes me think of the Alan Bennett film “A Private Function” with Michael Palin as there is a scene where the farmer, referencing the pigs, says to his son: “Preston, fetch that lame bugger”. Clearly Alan Bennett works are not known to Google AI.

They need to encourage the daughters to grow up as “influencers”. That seems to be the fast-track route to riches now. 😉

Unfortunate use of the word "fight" in the sense of that word being at the epicentre of the Panorama edit furore!

It's there in glimpses, but what's happened to BBC4 in the last decade is heartbreaking. I suppose we should be thankful it's still there at all!

I’d be happy for them to introduce a voluntary extra “BBC+” subscription service if it meant getting back the quality arts, science and documentary output that several generations grew up on. In fact I’d be overjoyed if they did that.

A radio sports channel that’s actually listenable.

World class educational content (Bitesize) and education rich tv, radio, and podcast output begs to differ with you .

Oh and the bit where they stepped in to educate kids when covid closed the schools.

They even invented “reality TV”.

I guess you'll be fine being able to buy subscriptions to news sources like the FT, but not the rest of the country which you've just removed an advert-free,well sourced outlet from their media mix.

Kinda galling to you pull up the ladder so easily because you don't agree with some of the output.

Starmer needs to steal this as a defence of the BBC speech in response to the orange thing’s rantings: “For he that comes for our Vision On and Animal Magic heroes….”

The nickname should give clues to the general area followed by the specific bin run. Mine would be something like: “Lady Chatterley - Ikea”.

Ha ha yes, sorry, I’m Bruce on Patreon. Not a problem it’s clear you have many demands at a gig, including having to be your own roadie. 😉
