Wanting to do better and still trying
Always thought of myself as a Democrat center-left. But tired of Schumer protecting Wall Street and status quo. Wonder how they’ll like a general strike?

OMG. I’m agreeing with MTG!!!

Dear New York Times: Opinion pieces, movies, travel, etc are NOT breaking news or worthy of a notification. I’m turning you off until you can figure out that you are becoming “the boy who cried wolf.”

How do we pressure SCOTUS to stop the shadow docket announcements? SCOTUS should let the cases wind through the courts so that decisions are well thought out and follow precedent. The shadow docket is nothing more than backroom deals, smelling like Tammany Hall corruption.

To all you Dems, esp Schumer. You better not again save Repub regime on federal budget. Just say no

Time for California to pass state law prohibiting ANY government agent from being so masked or covered that they are not individually identifiable at a distance of ten feet by an average person. Make it a felony
September 8, 2025 at 5:00 PM
US Supreme Court uses administrative stays. No explanation so no guidance to courts, agents or people. Orig court case continues & takes years. By then too late. Justice delayed is justice denied. SCOTUS effectively creates dictator and armed police state. McConnell & Schumer did this.

Do you think we can claw back the salaries/contracts we paid for Elon and the DOGE kids?

I wonder if DOGE savings of $167 Million (reported by CBS) accounted for the $21.7 Billion they wasted (see Alt Nat’l Parks)?

Two more simple laws for California
5 All persons, of any jurisdiction or entity, with the power to detain or arrest must be uniquely identifiable to the average person from a distance of ten feet
6. Within the state, a person must be a US citizen to own, use, sell … any type of firearm, gun or …

Four simple laws for California
1. All signs and labels to provide both Imperial and Metric quantities (let’s join the world)
2. All persons eligible to vote must return a ballot whether selection made or not.
3. Outlaw non plant based dyes from food
4. Eliminate daylight savings time

All you Democrats and supposed Good Causes - stop texting me for money. Past two days over 25 requests and you say palaver bupkis. You come across as a scammer. I am never going to click on your link. Go away. Really, f*** off.

Dems passed Inflation Reduction Act, with no Repubs. ~80% of $843 billion in new ev factories, battery & other projects went to Rep-led districts People not aware Now Repubs cut $ out & people think it’s savings. Dems should stop being nice to Repub districts and start talking care of their own

The US education secretary insisted that there “should be different viewpoints” in America’s most elite universities—even if those viewpoints are not based in any matter of science, fact, or proof. It’s truly my opinion is equal to your facts. So sad

In Nebraska and Missouri, voters passed paid sick leave measures last year. In both places, state legislators overturned those ballot measures in 2025. Now Alaska doing the same by governor not allowing any new regulations. Need to vote the authoritarian a$$holes out at every level.

New Hampshire and Arkansas imposed work requirements for Medicaid. No increased employment & thousands of people left without insurance creating costly health emergencies. Both states have since eliminated the policies. Republicans keep trying same sh*t and it still doesn’t work.

About 42 percent of farmworkers are not legally authorized to work in the USA. Rural communities, who mostly voted for Trump, are an easy target area for ICE searching for people to deport. Hope no one was planning on cheaper fruits, vegetables or dairy products.

Map shows states with less population than Los Angeles. This is why the Electoral College and Senate are exorbitantly unfair. People are being taxed without fair representation.

At end of 2024, the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact is the law in only 18 states for 209 electoral votes.

If you are fortunate enough to be a stockholder - vote. 1. Vote NO for any Director over the age of 70. Unless they rep something special they’re usually steeped in greed culture for C-suite.
2. Vote NO on compensation if CEO pay ratio over 200:1. Don’t feed the beast.

Thank you Rep Zinke for helping to save America the beautiful.
House amendment to the Repub budget package would allow the sale of about 500,000 acres of public land in Nevada and Utah. Repub rep Ryan Zinke of Montana said “It’s a no now. It will be a no later. It will be a no forever”

Hmmm - DOGE accesses FAA software. Musk wants FAA to use his Starlink. And now we have Newark and Denver problems. Coincidence - I think not

Pilots flying into Denver International Airport on Monday couldn't communicate with air traffic controllers for about two minutes due to radio failures

Once again Donny gives you what you voted for. From NPR (not say nothing FOX) news:

“Rural communities are scrambling after the Trump administration canceled billions in disaster grants. Many were counting on the funds for infrastructure fixes meant to withstand future disasters.”

Trump exec orders preparing for martial law. Sen Schumer will waggle his d*ck in a letter and then brag about big offense he’s undertaken. Sorry Chuck - but that’ll be a small offensive action. You should have led a march on DC the first time McConnell refused to consider Obama appt to SCOTUS

If we, as a nation, were really interested in efficiency, we’d convert to meters and grams for measures.

Lots of Senate Dems leaving or not running. The fish rots from the head, Sen Schumer

Tornado survivors in Arkansas won’t be receiving federal recovery aid as President Donald Trump rejected Gov Huckabee Sander’s request to declare a major disaster.

Thoughts and prayers
