Metolius Preserve, Central Oregon….always on my list of places to visit this time of the year. The vine maples are doing their thing and the larches aren’t far behind.

Wildflowers were doing their thing in Canyon Creek meadow below Three Fingered Jack in mid-August. Depending on where you stood you either saw lupine (blue) or yellow groundsel.
