My pivot to using abstract concepts and music as my artistic inspo has been wild! Like, the character I'm currently designing is based off Sleep Token songs, heavy metal band logos, and my knowledge of anatomy. This rocks!!

I don't think I wanna change usernames, but I kinda wanna change aesthetics ever so slightly. My identity in art has changed a TON in the past few months, and I feel I want my demeanor to reflect that.

Something I wanna pivot my art and creativity towards is less humanoid/most conceptual creature design. It's a tough thing (at least for me) to tackle since I've drawn only people/animals for as long as I started drawing, but I really want to push the limits.

I am surrounded by people who are outsourcing their own thinking to ChatGPT and they are quickly and obviously becoming dependent on it for even the most banal tasks. Once again, the "figuring it out" is the important part. Yes, you can use a crane to lift weights but you will not get stronger

Not gonna lie, I feel like now would be a great time to experiment with my art. Find that joy and whimsy I once had with it because lately, although I love what I've been making, I don't feel fulfilled. But I don't feel discouraged either. I just feel like my talent exists which is odd.
