It seems strange that a Labour chancellor continues to focus on trying to wring more cash out of the areas of the economy where the cash isn't and ignore looking at where the cash really is.

Nigel Farage is in the news again about his school days again. I don't understand why the media are reacting with such surprise and not pushing back harder against his excuses, especially the BBC.

This isn't a new story. See this report from Channel 4 in 2013.

It cannot be underestimated how important the Donbas region of Ukraine would be to the European defence industry. The Donbas has many of the minerals that the European defence industry currently sources from China.

So, the Tories are happy to sign up, sight unseen to a plan? An open ended war? Without knowing the goals, without knowing the peace plan. Has all sanity and morality deserted them?

🧵In the late-90s I got obsessed with cars. Not Ferraris and Porsches, ALL cars currently in production in Britain. I'd buy What Car magazine and I used to carry around a copy of Parkers guide. I dreamed of presenting Top Gear.

I can't help but wonder what imaginary enemy Trump will conjure up to blame when his tariff policy proves to be a disaster.

Then there is the thought of what his revenge will be for the stupidity of his own actions.

The current US administration has managed to annoy me to such a degree that I decided to reduce my buying of US products and through US companies.

What has shocked me is how difficult that is. Amazon for example has no real equivalent in the UK and US companies seems to own so many European brands.
