The incoming lieutenant governor posted the personal phone number of a local school superintendent and threatened to defund the school because he wasn’t allowed to speak. Micah Beckwith only knows how to throw a tantrum when he doesn’t get what he wants. That’s not what leadership looks like.

I was listening the BBC News Hour while driving between schools today, and cannot believe I need to write this: 1. The covid vaccine prevents severe disease and death. It doesn't prevent all infection, but you are less likely to die if you get it after being vaccinated. 2. Masks work best when the SICK person wears it - it keeps you from passing your germs along. It is the same reason why a surgeon wears one. They are less effective if you are trying to avoid another person's illness. 3. Hundreds of thousands of unvaccinated or immunosuppressed people around the world die from measles alone. It isn't "Big Pharma" - it is virologists, epidemiologists, and public health professionals trying to save lives. ALSO, only stupid people want to privatize things (like education, medicine, social support networks) AND ALSO say that it is bad/a lie/a conspiracy when the private company makes money off of it.
