I am entertained by all the people who ring their hands over MAGA, bad actors, bots and followers. I don't give a toss about followers and never even look at anything beyond posts. To me, there is no social media. Just people bitching and moaning. At least here people aren't so dumb as on X.

That's kinda funny. I do in 30 minutes on Linux what it takes me a week to do on Windows. Opening a document for instance.

The really funny thing is one of the best examples of space-use by solar I've seen is a zoo south of Tampa. The car park was covered in solar panels, providing both power for the zoo and shade for the cars of the visitors. Impressed that someone in Florida had such a brain.

I liked Carter. He told the truth. He was also the only President in my lifetime to go on TV and accept responsibility for something (the failed hostage rescue attempt). No President has done so since, and I don't think ever will. To me, that says it all.

As a white American trying to escape an emerging fascist country, I have been fighting and paying to eventually become a UK citizen. Recently I have been feeling like I paid a lot of money to jump from the frying pan into the fire.

This is what slays me about US and UK anti-immigration policies for non-whites (because whites are always welcome) - whites invariably cause the problems (in the name of "national interest") that cause these people to flee. But for some reason, the people in power are too stupid to see that.
