It seems DHS/ICE realized they had not met their arrest quota so they withdrew the workers permits, without notice, and raided the Hyundai plant and arrested the temporary workers, including some company executives.

That will be a bigger hit to the U.S. bc of her “guess” they were being trafficked. No research just supposition.

*I also read on Saturday that the work permits for these South Koreans had been arranged by Sec. State Marco Rubio along with Georgia Gov. Kemp.

Did you know South Korea was going to do a total of $26B in investments in GA? Do you know that South Korea holds $120+ Billion in U.S. debt? Imagine them pulling all investments and selling off those bonds.

What's important is that their country is right now picking them up and flying them home where they are safe and have issued a return home or shelter in place order for every Korean citizen in the United States at this time.

I managed to find one article that said many of them were on Visa waiver programs. And that many of them were not direct employees of the Hyundai plant but we're on various visas from the parent LG corporation.

Imagine how reluctant they will be to return to the US to continue setting up the factory, that will employ 1200 Americans in high paying skilled jobs, after literally being placed in chains.

LG have already suspended all staff travel to the US & are recalling everyone already there.

They were there to start hiring & training the American workforce that will one day work there…

They were there on temporary work visas, some for as little as two weeks. To do what Hyundai need them to do, before returning home.
