I'm a queer knitter, passionate about knitting, gardening, Star Trek, discworld, feminism, lgbtq issues, hiking, dyeing, moomins. Not necessarily in that order. CNBC, but coming to embrace it mostly. She/her. Speaks 🇩🇪🇬🇧🇩🇰
Another sock project - Smokey Zickzacks by Natalia Vasilieva - sideways knitted socks in lots of different sock yarns from an advent calendar swap. Very happy so far

I've lost my handbag project, a pair of socks that was almost done😐 so I'm casting on a new pair of socks instead and I'm very excited about the pattern (Morganna by Atelier Midsummer's Eve) and the yarn combo (two mini skein sets dyed by me)

I'm done with a small lovey for my grandniece. The feathers are loosely knitted in wool fiber and fulled in the washing machine after knitting.

A new project I'm working on - a sideways knitted summer skirt. I'm on 19 of 55 green stripes. The pattern is called Ashley Skirt by Trudy van Stralen and the green yarn is fingering bamboo handdyed by me and Drops loves you 9 in eleven different colors, leftovers from another project.

I’ve dyed yarn! Skeins for a progress pride flag projects and in addition sock blanks, mostly with the leftover dye from the rainbow project.

And it's finished! I love it. it's based on the tablecloth pattern called Pfingstrosen by Herbert Niebling, yarn is Linarte by Lana Grossa. i started with a swatch, did some calculations on the base of a well fitting top and then did mostly try it on in between to gauge how to proceed.

Progress picture of my summer tee, based on a motif of the tablecloth pattern called Pfingstrosen by Herbert Niebling. On the backside there's the same motif with leaves.

A new project - a summer tee in a linen rayon chainette blend. A raglanish construction based on a motif from the tablecloth pattern called Pfingstrosen from Herbert Niebling. See second pic for swatch with said motif.

I've got a picture of the bridal garter worn! She cried when I told her it's yarn from her late grandma. Made me happy to see it so well received. Pattern is Molly's Garter by Jodie Gordon Lucas.

It's finished! From a dress with a ripped chiffon skirt to a handdyed lace extravaganza. It's based on a Niebling tablecloth called Blütenstrahlen and one called Pfingstrosen. I've dyed 13 shades for that. I've worn it to my niece's wedding this week and it was fabulous!

I'm finally casting off, over 5000 stitches! The wedding I want to wear this to is next week, so I need to power through. It's going to be sewn onto a jersey dress. I've handdyed the yarn especially for this project. It's based on the Niebling patterns Blütenstrahlen and Pfingstrosen.

Started the last section of the overlay skirt for a dress. It's exciting to knit as I'm mashing up two different tablecloth patterns now.
The yarn is handdyed by me especially for this project.

I'm finished with my new favorite cardigan.
It's a mix of several patterns: the shape of "Shusui Shrug" by Sosuknits, the brioche sections by "Myriad' by Cate Carter-Evans and "Turning roads" shawl by Raina Kruus.
