In today's "Can't Decide Whether to 😂 or 😭 React" Department - team is joking about putting off WCAG testing and coding since ADA will probably end up going away next.

Developers - code for ADA regardless. If you need more incentive (and you shouldn't) it's also good for SEO.

Frame your data like the plot twist everyone saw coming but couldn't prevent - except this time, you're giving them the cheat codes to win. Make them feel smart for getting ahead of the problem.

We love that Julien does this, but who can blame him for getting a bit weary of the northern European roads and weather in Spring/Autumn.

Would anyone fancy joining him for the journey this April?
Wondering wether to ride another ExtraMileForSEO to @brightonseo.com next April. It would be my 7th trip already, and tbh I’m not that motivated to do it again, especially solo. Anyone wants to join?

1. CTR is not purchase intent.
2. Rankings are not relevance
3. Impressions are not impact

I'm reading the European Commission Guidelines on the definition of an AI System under the #EUAIAct and I find them very abstract and difficult to apply in practice. For instance ..

The Commission publishes guidelines on AI system definition to facilitate the first AI Act’s rules application
The guidelines on the AI system definition explain the practical application of the legal concept, as anchored in the AI Act.

“The next time someone talks about creating a UI-less experience, ask them: Through which of the five senses do they expect users to perceive their product? Whatever the answer, that’s their interface.“
Yup, fully agree with this

If it’s not one of your five senses, it’s an interface. This might seem like a bold claim in an era obsessed with “invisible” and “UI-less”

People running things where they shouldn't run is my favourite kind of experiments 😍
I got Linux running in a PDF file using a RISC-V emulator.

PDFs support Javascript, so Emscripten is used to compile the TinyEMU emulator to asm.js, which runs in the PDF. It boots in about 30 seconds and emulates a riscv32 buildroot system.
