This is a huge victory. Boycotts work and people working together can change things. Let this inspire us all!
Nexstar has also given up.
Calling their advertisers worked. But now it's important to realize that a continued boycott against those advertisers makes any future boycott attempts less likely to work. You did your job. The advertisers did theirs. It's time to thank them.

The Smothers Brothers were cancelled for refusing to submit to censorship. This wasn't a good news story. They were still just off the air and I guess Johnson could afford to sound magnanimous.
When the Smothers Brothers apologized to President Johnson for their jokes about him, he replied, "It is part of the price of leadership of this great and free nation to be the target of clever satirists." Imagine having a president who had this courage now.
