Krootox progress.
My next goal is rough out the feet and quils.
I tried to do a tail but there was a lot of blow out and I think I just haven't left myself space for one. I would like to think of someway to add interest to the back.

These are the games I orderd off Mercari at the same time. Went for the cheapest listing of each and while some are a bit grunbier than others the all lucky still work.
Although Castlevania is pretty picky about when it wants to be read...

No lines or issues with the display which feels very lucky for a 30+ year old consoles shipped from Japan that somone clearly got a lot of fun out.

Got this yellow Play it Loud Gameboy DMG recently and cleaned it up.
Got the dirt and ink off, but in the right light you can still see where a previous owner carved their name on the front which is kinda cool.
The replacement screen I got is the wrong shade but atleast it's not falling off anymore.
A dirty yellow Gameboy DMG with some not very legible writing on the front which I think was the previous owners name. The same gameboy from the first image but now all the dirt and ink is gone. You can still see about the D-pad the scratched in writing where the light hits it.

If you've not read natasha pulleys latest book "the Hymn to Dyonisus" I really recommend it. It's so good.

Got a new knife last week, so I'm finishing up my wizard today.

Been teaching myself relief carving here's the first attempt so far.
Turns our v shaped gouges are so much easier that trying it with a bench chisel.
The stencil I drew on a piece of parchment and glued into the Mallet I made. Rough outline of the pattern. Starting to remove negative space between the patern. The negative space between the celtic weave has been removed. I need to clean up the loose fibres and make a cleaner boarder around the patern.

I can hear the eisteddfod from my house, so Im working on a new spoon while I listen in.

Had a really fun weekend away in Nottingham with some great friends. Spent most of it in Warhammer World playing 40k.
My Imperial Guard faced off against Death Guard and World Eaters.
A really cool tyanids themed table with a Fort in one corner. The Fort is being defended by the Imperial guard against a tide of Death Guard and World Eaters. FABIUS BILE is having a lovely stroll through the tyranid jungle. An Imperial landing zone themed table at warhammer world. Death Guard and Imperial Guard minis are being used to play 40k. An imperium landing zone is being fought over but ogryns and death guard terminators.

Was at Warhammer World for the weekend with friends and managed to grab a signed copy before they kicked us out friday.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes guard, tyranids or badass ladies in dangerous places.

The audio book is also great! Gabrielle Nellis-Pain gave an amazing performance.
A picture of me holding a copy of the deathworlder by Victoria Haywood (you should buy one too) in front of the entrance to Warhammer World. It's dark and starting to rain. I look amazing for someone who has just travelled 3 and a 1/2 hours and played a game of 40k on nothing but a sausage roll.

Me when JustEat forget my burger.
A grumpy looming seal plushy with a McDonald's drink and fries but no burger. JustEat is basically UberEats or Deliveroo but Snoop Dog did an ad for them.
