I feel like I should have something profound to say on this dreadful, historic day. I don’t. I’m heartbroken that it happened on the day we celebrate the legacy of MLK. The grief is no longer anticipatory. It is here. But I imagine these feelings will continue to swirl around for the next 4 years:
